Juneteenth Marathon

Juneteenth Marathon is a community-rooted race and celebration in DC founded by Freddie Irby. The race highlights the event’s mission of inclusivity in running, while honoring Juneteenth through movement, culture, and connection.

I developed the website, evolved their flag logo into a refined logo system with typography and a cohesive color palette, and designed a commemorative race shirt illustrating the full Juneteenth Half Marathon & 10K route along the Civil War Defenses of Washington Trail.
